To begin with, I am just like the rest. I am a fan, a follower and dare I say it, a worshiper of Bob Dylan. I read everything I can about him, by him, for him, etc, etc. I know I'm not alone when I say that I think I could be friends with him. I know, I'm starting to sound like those crazy fans that want to go through his garbage just so they can know "all there is to know about him". I'm really not that way. I don't know if it's because he has been such a huge part of my life for most of my life that I really feel like if I were to meet him and just sit and talk to him we really could just hang out and talk.... about nothing and everything, not mega star and adoring fan kind of talking, just everyday, nice weather we're having, kind of talking you know.
I know the chances of anything remotely close to that will never happen, but still, it would be nice to be able to just hang and talk with him, wouldn't it.
I'm sure he has heard that often in his life which is probably why he isn't seen much and then when he is, he gets hounded by all those "adoring fans" likely.
So I'm sorry Bob if we ruined it all for you. I really hope you can look past all the crazies and see that there are some "fans" who aren't trying to ruin it for you. So that's me, just like the rest, not like the rest.
