Thank You for Helping Women Everywhere

Ginger   —

My name is Ginger. I'm a 29-year-old female from America. I have supported and looked up to you since the 1990s. You are the person that got me into politics. Your passion for doing what's right keeps me going. You helped me survive many horrible things, as well as helped me be a brave, strong, badass feminist. I stand up for myself more and keep speaking my mind no matter what, all because I have brilliant role models like you.

I'm forever heartbroken by the electoral college and our government's choices. Although every time I see you lately, it helps prove that we still matter. That we still need to fight, advocate, stand up, be counted, and heard. I saw you speak in person before the 2008 primaries, as well as before last year's primaries. It was one of the best moments of my life. I didn't get to talk to you or take a picture with you but I still adored being there. It helped me become more passionate to go out the next day to knock on doors and get the word out on why voting is so important. Especially voting for you.

I also got to see Chelsea last year. It was a few hours before I saw you. It was amazing. It showed what wonderful parents you and Bill are to her, as well as helping her be fantastic at public speaking. It was also my birthday that day. I usually don't have very exciting birthdays or people to celebrate it with. So seeing both of you that day made it amazing.

I do hope to meet you some day and say face-to-face how much you mean to me. I'm also really looking forward to your new book and anything else you do. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to go to a book signing. I will always be a nasty woman alongside you.

Sincerely,

Ginger
