Prince-throUgh the times

Annonymous   —

Arco Arena- Sacramento California; early 2000's. From our seats, far from the stage, Prince was the largest man in the room. The audience literally never sat down the entire show. I fell in love that magical night, and he remained tucked away in a special place in my heart .

Life went on, and while I loved his 80s hits- my genre in musical taste evolved. It wasn't until after his untimely death that I learned that Prince himself ( unlike so many 80s musicians), had also evolved in not only music, but like me, in spirituality and personal growth. Since his death. I have learned more than I ever knew about him and realize the purple place I have kept in my heart all these years , has swollen and broken at the same time.

He represented the ultimate in self-actualization, the thing we all strive for , but few of us ever achieve.

Thank you beautiful Prince. I loved you then, but you will remain my guiding star for the rest of my journey here on earth.

How lucky Heaven is to have you. ????
