A chef played me the Darling Nikki song by Prince and from then on I was hooked. I have always loved guitar played well and Prince beats all others and that is before you consider his image and voice. I have been a fan for over 28 years now and his songs are written in to play at my funeral so he really will be person who is linked to my life experiences. I have loved his strength and versatility and his ability to push boundaries. His work ethic was amazing ( hence he was so good). He rehearsed himself and his band for long hours. I loved the fact he was private. It created an enigma and drove the fantasy. He never let us down as fans and God I will miss all he represents and his music. Open those vaults!
