Prince was the first man I ever fell in love with. ????

Dirty Mind. Yes, I was probably too young to be listening to Prince, but the heart wants what it wants! I literally found peace in his music while growing up and going through tough times. I remember at one time, I had 26 posters of Prince on my wall. At least 150 buttons. I still have all his albums. Even the purple one. In fact, I still have the movie ticket from the Hollywood premier of Purple Rain in 1984.

I was known as Lady Prince and I tagged it around town wherever I could. I was a member of IPF, ~International Prince Freaks. My friend and I would track down the hairdresser he went to, the hotel he stayed at, and all things Prince. I've kept all the magazine covers over the years and my photo albums filled with pictures, articles, and other memorabilia. I've been to 7 or 8 concerts , watched Purple Rain 36 times, and sang his songs at karaoke more times than I can count. So many memories!
I'm still in a state of shock. I appreciate all the calls and texts. I've had friends I haven't spoken to in years calling me asking if I'm OK. I cried off an on all day. Ha! Amazing how a person you don't personally know can have such an impact on your life. So glad to have lived during his reign as a trendsetting genius in the music industry! Nothing Compares 2 U Prince! ????????
