Endless Love and awe for prince

I was 13 or so when I first heard Prince and '1999' 'Little Red Corvette' and 'Delirious. Then came 'Purple Rain' and WOW....I was in awe of the music, talent and how different and cool his style was and of course, how amazingly sexy he was. I never had seen such a beautiful man at that time in my life and I have to say I still think that as a middle aged woman! I remember dancing in front of the mirror most of that summer to the whole 'Purple Rain' album learning all the lyrics and dance moves I could. I had to have every album after that and was obsessed. I was lucky enough to see him in Minneapolis as an older teen during the LoveSexy tour. I skipped school and lied to my Dad to go this concert, which I was later punished for, but it was l worth it!! Many years, a few movies, videos, concerts and albums later, he kept the creativity alive on his own terms, looked amazing/classy all the time and gave fans so much music to cherish. I do not live that far from Minneapolis and wish I would have followed him more in the later years by going there to catch him live--the 'Piano and Microphone' tour had to have been amazing. I regret that, of course. Whoever was able to see him in recent months is so lucky....I still can't believe he is gone. I found this pic somewhere and absolutely love it...beautiful, pensive and cool all at the same time. Rest in peace you amazing man. You truly influenced so much of my life as far as music goes and still do.
