When I was 23 in 1981 my husband was killed. I struggled so much in the next couple of years. In 1982, I really started listening to Prince and became so obsessed with his music. He was my age, born in my state and just everything about him was courageous. I am so proud of who he was, grew into and became as he grew older. I cannot shake my sadness yet. I still cry over him dying alone. I was never able to see him in person which truly breaks my heart, but like many I feel in someways like I knew him. Some know how much he meant to me because I lived through his music. It kept me alive during my dark grief. The world will miss his talent in every way. Rest peacefully Prince. Thank you???? CLS
