will we ever be the same ?

My love affair with Prince began in the 2nd grade. I'm 41 now. The song Delirious had me at Hello. I was hooked at an early age. I'm blessed that I've got to see him in my hometown 3 times. His drummer for 14 years John Blackwell was a classmate of ours. He came home to help with a Tribute Concert for Prince. I've met Jerome Bennett from the Time years ago at Bike Week. He was such a gentleman. He's gorgeous too. He offered us his room and he said that he would sleep on the sofa. My family declined the offer. However I was totally happy to have met someone from the Minneapolis family. I know that I'm not the only one that couldn't ever imagine a world without Prince. I honestly feel like I've lost a family member. I'm listen to his music daily...trying to make peace with what's happened. I know that God doesn't make mistakes. Like he said in his song Reflections...when bodies wear out, we can get another. I pray that this is true. Forever a part of my life...Prince :)
