My mom worked nights so when she got off work she needed to sleep. Well she had 4 kids so this was hard to do. We had the vhs of Purple Rain and we loved to sit on the couch and fast forward to all the great music. My siblings and I would sit on our couch for hours watching Purple Rain, singing and dancing along with Prince while our mother slept in the next room. My mother always said that Prince was her baby-sitter and if she ever got the chance to meet him she would thank him. My mom never got to meet you Prince but you played a big part in my childhood and I thank you. Love you always....
