I have been a Prince fan for as long as i can remember. The Purple Rain movie and soundtrack defined my Junior and Senior years in High School. I listened to the soundtrack so much i had to replace it 3 times. If you talk to the 'younger' kids today about Prince and his death, they reply with " Oh, is that the Purple Rain guy?" Ofcourse, little do they know that his 'Reign' began many years before that. Master..Genius..Writer..Producer. Grammy Winner..Top 100 best Album of all time for Purple Rain...instrumental prodigy (27) all self taught...the list of his accomplishments is endless. He was and is an icon...never to be matched..he tookba little piece of his fans with him when he died. He will be truly missed.
