Words will never express..I can only try

Annonymous   —

I remember being a little 7 year old girl and listening to "I wanna be your lover" and just something about his voice captured my attention. From that day on and 36 years later, I have truly been captivated by his beautiful mysterious ways! His music was a part of my life while growing up, and over the years I grew so much respect and admiration for who he was. He gave the world his gift of talent, heart and soul. You could see music was his life and he left us with so much great music. I had so much respect for him because he wasn't your typical celebrity in the tabloids every day, never heard of him in a scandal. He lived a private life and that's the way he wanted it. For years I've had a bucket list..meeting him was at the top of my list. And had I met him, there's so much I would've said to him. When you listen to his lyrics, or watch him perform, you know for a fact that he is giving it his all every single time! There are certainly plenty of other great musicians out there, but for me...he was IT! As they say "God always takes "best ones" and this time he truly has taken one of the best. I had contemplated for several years about getting a tatto, because its never been my thing, especially on a woman's body. But as my way of showing how much he meant to me, Ive decided to get his symbol in purple with the words "May u live 2 see the dawn". It will feel right to me, and it will be the one and only tattoo I'll get. When I heard the news, I was speechless, it felt like I had just lost "one of my own". Not only as an entertainer, but as a Beautiful person inside and out, he will forever be missed. Thank you Prince Rogers Nelson for giving us....YOU!
