The pic on the left is my 5th grade photo on picture day. I had my purple rain sweatshirt with my name down one sleeve and you couldn't tell me s---! The pic on the right is one in which I thought my kid looked like me on the left. I had the 1999 album and inserts on my wall but I kept the insert with the top of his butt showing underneath my bed so I could drool over him without getting the album confiscated by my mom. I remember being in 4th grade and bringing the times the walk album to school and the teacher ripped the needle off when she heard the part abt what the hell we fighting for? Walk!! I had the purple rain album and a college friend bought me the hits/the b sides collection. I saw the time perform at the house of Blues in Los Angeles when I was 25 and I saw Prince in Houston around the same time. I'm still in shock and grieving as if I knew him personally
