The night I painted this, I was riding on impulsion, I was at my friend's place, we are both artists so we meet up every now and then for 'drawing nights'.I had told my her that I HAD to draw Prince like my life depended on it.
Glamorous, Glorious, no-one wore purple like he wore purple...no-one ever will.
There are so many things I found incredible about him, was his unfathomable talent, his intensity and that truly inspiring, outrageous and down right beautiful fashion-sense.
I channelled everything I admire about him in one picture.
How special and unique he was and always will be.
