Whenever I faced difficulties in my life, I would turn to music. Especially Bowie's music. I've never been very good at communicating my feelings and had seemingly eccentric interests, and I would often feel outlandish as compared to even my closest of friends in this regard. However, whenever I would tune into David Bowie's music, I felt a great sense of belonging. I've come to a crossroad in my life where I will soon be leaving for college, and none other than Bowie taught me to turn and face the strange ch-ch-changes. I grew up listening to his music, and intend to grow old listening to it as well. Thank you Starman, you taught me that it's okay to be different, and you gave me the courage to be myself. You are, and forever will be, my hero.
Sincerely,
A "Juvenile success"
