The first time I ever knew who David Bowie was, I saw him on Soul Train singing Fame and to my knowledge now it was a day after my 11th birthday. I thought it was sooooo cool to see this handsome white guy on a black tv show...he melted my heart with his smile. I heard his songs later in my adult life and still found him quite handsome and when he married Iman....I was very thrilled for them, what a most true and beautiful love story. He will be missed by me. He will be that black star in the sky forever and always...a void missed here on Earth.
