CHAPTER :
The many tastes of O'Brien

Whenever I travel to a new city I try to make it a tradition to visit any restaurants, pubs, etc. with my namesake. I originally got the idea when I was in New Orleans, LA and partied at Pat O' Brien's in the French Quarter. My friends I were joking about how successful I'd be if my grandfather was Pat (although I'm sure we are related somehow!) Whether it be the strong family lineage or the strong hurricane drinks, I was inspired to check out different O'Brien's eateries and bars while traveling. There have been a handful of others such as O'Brien's Restaurant in Old Town Chicago while I was in town for business; O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica during a friend's wedding trip, and another O'Brien's Irish Pub near Times Square New York City. This new little tradition of mine has been a fun adventure and I'm always open to new spots if anyone has suggestions. I hear O'Brien's Deli in Ada, Michigan is quite yummy so perhaps that's next on the list...
