Mine's a strange one, I'm a Patton on my mother's side, and the first Patton in America came over in the 1840's during the Potato Famine. He and his family were Ulster Scots, but they came from the Isle of Mull 300 years before. You know how they ended up in Mull? Their Gaelic name is MacFadyen, and the MacFadyens were Irish mercenaries from Donegal who came over to Scotland with Somerled, King of Argyll. Their clan badge is the ancient Dalcassian symbol of Nuada's arm and the sword of light. Their motto is also the exact same as the O'Briens because it turns out, they are descended from Brian Boru. ;)
