I dance for sooooo many reasons; one of which is it's ability to move me in infinitely varying ways. I use Nia Technique as my platform for exploring movement variety for increased functional fitness of my body, mind & spirit. I've found through purposeful sink and rise, open close and degrees of resistance I can consciously affect my strength, flexibility, agility, mobility and stability. For 10 years my personal Nia practice has compelled me forward. I'm learning through Nia "How the body moves", and learning through dance "How my body moves", all the while learning "How I do it!"
