I got the opportunity to see John perform in the year before his death. It was a Christmas show, 2 hours long! The first hour was Christmas music, the second was his standard music. He perform the Christmas music with a children's choir from a local church. However, they were only told about this a month before the show--but the show sold out a month before that! So, we were in a box in the side. There was one parent sitting in our box, while his wife was on the floor! It was a great show!
