My early life was shaped by John Denver's music. The first concert I attended was John Denver's concert at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl. It was an incredible experience for a young fourteen year old. The moment of the most impact for me was his performance of High Calypso, (song I had not heard before) the magic of the moment still lives with me today.

As the entire space was flooded with blue light, my mind was totally captivated. I was on board that ship racing through the crystal clear waters. I was spellbound!

Thank you John, your music created a pathway through my early life. Your music carried me through tears and laughter, hope and fears. My life is richer and my light brighter thanks to your music which filled my heart and soul.
