When I decided to get my first tattoo, I thought I'd feel silly if I picked something that wasn't totally original. When I started getting more, though, I realized that no matter what, I would always be unique; nobody else has the exact same combination of artwork as I do. I've actually crossed paths with maybe 3 or 4 other people in person or online who have one or two of the same designs on them, but the colors are different, or the locations are different...no two are EXACTLY alike. Just like thousands of people will buy the same posters, it doesn't mean they're going to decorate their places the same way. Once I realized that, I relaxed a lot more about the whole thing...it's not about being unique, it's about being true to yourself...and usually when you do that, you end up being unique anyways.
