Hi, My name is Trish. I am writing to wish Bob Dylan a Happy Birthday. I hope you have a great birthday, I have loved Bobby since I was 9 years old and when I worked at the post office every year on May 24th I brought a cake for my fellow employees. I have a picture of some of them holding a picture of him while I hold the cake and my middle daughter ( who was about 4 at that time ) is standing next to me. She is 26 now. I remember his birthday like my own kids birthday and hope all finds you well into the years to come. You strike me as the type of person who is totally bored with adoration. So I will try to keep it to a minimum. I want to thank you for the years of sacrifice and vulnerability you’ve shared with the world, including me. I use to write poetry in college but it was painful and distracting. I couldn’t control when the words would come and it would interrupt my life. So I chose the easy way out and lived a conventional life and avoided delving into my inner voice, except for an occasional glance. You have made your life by sharing your life. Thank you.
